Jonathan Barry should be praised for bringing together all the splendid concertati- one of the greatest joys of Rossini's music. These were always highly enjoyable. First prize amongst the soloists goes to Giacinta Nicotra, who interpreted the role of the protagonist with precision, warmth, finesse and with an extra touch of enchanting freshness. We wish her the very best in her career. All the other singers were extremely dedicated in their roles. Certainly, the imaginative and appropriate costumes by Anna-Maria Morelli must have cost a fair bit .It was a small-great moment of art and culture, in which at the end, one appreciates only the positive elements, and we hope the association continues on this road.
