The Vox Lirika opera company is an exciting new group of young, talented international performers. The company policy is to sing the mainstream repertoire in the original language, using either small orchestra or piano accompaniment. All productions are staged and in costume.
The company also aims, with the use of a narrator and screen images, to encourage a public of first-timers and families to come and watch and listen to an evening of music theatre in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere.
The productions are designed to be dramatically strong, but also cost-effective, portable and utilise recent advances in digital projection. This enables the company to be involved in operatic projects that can reach beyond the physical and cultural limitations of the traditional large opera house.
